Faith Christian Eagles Track & Field

Coach's Corner

Program Director and Head Coach ::: Kris Lettow

Kris Lettow begins his third year as Head Coach of the Track and Field program here at Faith Christian High School after ten previous seasons being the throwers coach.  Kris brings with him extensive knowledge of the throwing events in track and field through his experience at UCLA as an All-American discus thrower and as the California Junior College State Champion in the discus.  Kris also qualified for the 1980 Olympic Trials for discus!

Kris loves coaching and seeing the joy on his athletes faces when they achieve something they never thought was possible.  He hopes that the Track and Field program creates an environment where each athlete learns to trust God in high pressure situations; where they learn that a performance that is driven from the desire to represent Christ in the best possible way is always a success.  He wants to encourage the athletes to embrace the idea that victory and defeat are less important than how each one is handled.

Kris has been married for 27 years to Chrisse and has two children.  Ian, a graduate of Faith Christian High School, now throwing at the college level at Colorado State University and Adrienne, currently a senior at Faith who is signed to throw at Colorado University.
