International Students at Faith

A letter from the bottom of our heart...
I knew about Faith Christian Academy because I put my daughter Adri Herrera on God´s hands!
When my husband and I decided to send Adri abroad, we asked our Lord “please show us the right way to our lovely Adri, and the best for her”. And He actually did!
At Faith Christian Academy we found, as parents, not only a safety place to stay and high academic school to study, but also a wonderful environment to spend a year. Great directors and teachers with a deep commitment of teaching and care and love for any of their student; wonderful girls and boys with a deep commitment to grow as great human beings as per our Lord; great activities to support and help to develop all skills, capacities and talents of all student, physical and intellectual; just a wonderful community with deep commitment to service others that need it; and the most important, a place to have a close spiritual life no matter if we are catholic fellows, since all belong to God.
Particularly, our Adri has found a paradise, where there is real friendship (cultivate positive relationships as it is stated in the Honor Code), discipline (In obedience to seek, understand and follow God´s will as it is stated in the Honor Code), Chapel and Bible activities (Adri´s favorites), extracurricular activities (Track and Field and PE) integrity and service to others and a wonderful family to stay with. All of which has supported Adri´s self-concept, self-esteem and maturity to be a better human being.
There are not enough words to say THANK YOU so much for all your care and love to our Adri and for being there in difficult moments.

“At Faith I experienced a great community with teachers and students. Everyone is nice and there are great relationships with the students. Here I learn great stuff about God and the world. America and football are awesome!” - Leo Schmitt
“My name is Julia Shubina and I’m an international student from Uzbekistan. This school has completely changed my life. When I first time came to chapel, I cried because I have never felt God’s presence and love that close. Two months later I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior; since then God has been constantly working in my life. Faith is a school I always dreamed of. Here, I have learned who God is and how much He cares about me. Besides studying, I have fun writing articles for the school newspaper and I am learning how to act in drama. Lord, thank you for bringing me into this school!”
“It was such a blessing that I got introduced to Faith (I believe that it was a part of God’s plan that He has for me). When I think of Faith, the first thing that comes to my mind is ‘What a great environment for Christian young men to learn stuff under the great teachers!’ Faith has really high academic & athletic programs. Students are willing to learn and have a great heart for the Lord. At Faith, not only did I learn how to communicate in English, but I also gained knowledge of how God works in my life. Because of Faith, I learned how to walk with God, because of Faith I learned how to talk to God. For the rest of my life, I will never forget the time I spent at Faith.” - August Jeong
