It is the goal of Faith Christian Academy that the following desired outcomes be achieved in the lives of our students. The goal of Faith Christian Academy is to graduate students with a biblical worldview who: - Are competently skilled in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and thinking.
- Are proficient in mathematics and science.
- Have a knowledge, understanding and the ability to recognize the significant relevance of people, events, and movements within history.
- Appreciate literature, music and the arts, understanding how they express and shape the personal beliefs and values of all people.
- Have a critical appreciation of other cultures, dispelling prejudice, promoting inter-ethnic harmony, and encouraging biblical hospitality.
- Personally participate in carrying out the Great Commission locally and around the world in a culturally sensitive manner by physically going, praying or financially supporting those directly involved.
- Utilize all resources to find, analyze, and evaluate information.
- Are committed to life-long learning.
- Have the skills to question, solve problems, and make wise decisions.
- Accept and utilize their unique physical and mental God-given gifts and talents as they live a life of worship.
- Can articulate and defend their Christian worldview while understanding opposing worldviews.
- Understand and commit to a maturing lifelong personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Know, understand, and wisely apply God's Word in all decisions.
- Possess the ability to discern absolute biblical truth from relative values in all aspects of life and culture.
- Are empowered by the Holy Spirit to pursue a life of faith, using their spiritual gifts and demonstrating Christ-like character motivated by love.
- Make healthy choices in response to being created in the image of God.
- Are actively involved in a church community, serving God and others.
- Understand, value, and engage in appropriate social (community) and civic (political) activities.
- In humility live pure and obedient lives that produce reconciliation (right relationship) between God and man.
- Value intellectual discussion and are engaged in the marketplace of ideas (open honest exchange of ideas).
- Respect, and relate appropriately with honesty to the people with whom they work, play, and live.
- Have an appreciation for the natural environment and practice responsible stewardship of God's creation.
- Are prepared to practice the principles of healthy, moral, family living.
- Are good stewards of their finances, time (including discretionary time) and all other personal resources.
- Understand that vocation (their work) is an expression of the nature and attributes of God.
