Program Director and Head Coach ::: Danny Bote

Danny was born and raised in Longmont, CO where he attended Niwot High School. While at Niwot he was a part of 3 State Champion Baseball teams (1998,1999,2000) where he earned honors of All State in 1999 and 2000, and All Colorado in 2000.  He went on to play Division I baseball at Liberty University where he earned the starting shortstop role in 2003. His career was cut short due to two shoulder surgeries at the end of 2003.

Danny has been an assistant baseball coach in Florida for the Manatee Heat, and also at Erie High School. This is his first year as the head coach at Faith Christian Academy.

Danny is married to his beautiful wife Stacie and they have two sons.  He also serves as the Student Minister at North Metro Church in Thornton, CO.

Assistant Varsity Coach ::: Nate Kelley

Nate Kelley is very excited about the opportunity to help coach at Faith Christian High School. He has been around sports his entire life and thrives off of working in teams and being a part of the brotherhood that exists within a sports team. Nate believes that coaching is all about mentoring and teaching boys to become men, and he looks forward to the impact that the entire coaching staff for Faith baseball will have on the players and the way that God is going to work in not only their lives, but his as well.

After graduating high school in 2008, Nate has been blessed with the opportunity to minister and teach middle school and high school guys at North Metro Church. In doing this, he has learned a tremendous amount about himself and how to make a positive impact for Christ through being a part of these men’s lives. It is Coach Kelley’s hope and purpose to take this relational knowledge with him in an effort to help grow the Faith baseball team in a way that reflects God’s grace, love, and mercy.

Assistant Coach ::: Dan Loffert

Dan Loffert grew up in Buffalo, New York and moved to Colorado right after graduating high school. He works in the Loss Prevention Department of King Soopers. Dan’s favorite things to do are play baseball with his son Ian and walk his two dogs with wife Michelle. Ian is a sophomore, and has attended F.C.A. since kindergarten. Michelle has worked at the F.C.A. elementary school for the last eight years. Dan has coached youth baseball for ten years through North Jefferson Junior Baseball Association. Not only does he enjoy the game of baseball, but coaching also allows him the opportunity to instill in the boys the importance of good sportsmanship, strong character, and high moral values. Coach Loffert considers it a privilege and thanks God for the opportunity to be an assistant with the Faith High School baseball program.

Head JV Coach ::: Mike Pickett

Assistant JV Coach ::: Bill Hadden

Bill Hadden was born in Denver, grew up in the suburbs and graduated from Lakewood High School. He began playing sports during 4th grade and continued on through high school where he participated in track, basketball, baseball, and football. Although Bill never played major sports at the collegiate level, he was able to satisfy his thirst for competitive team play by participating in collegiate intramurals at the University of Colorado where he graduated with a B.A. in Biology. Later Coach Hadden earned his M.B.A. at Colorado State University. He is married and has 2 children – his oldest is in the USAF and his youngest is a junior at Faith where she is a proud member of the back-to-back State 2A Championship cheer team.

Bill retired after spending 25 years in the corporate world in 2008. He has enjoyed coaching middle school football at FCA for the past 3 seasons and most recently, assisting with the JV baseball team. In his spare time he likes to fly fish, mountain bike and spend time exploring the outdoors in this beautiful state. Bill feels that he has been called to serve and is looking forward to this season and helping the kids to realize their individual gifts and to maximize their potential to glorify God. He feels blessed to have been given this opportunity.
