ARTS and SCIENCES at Faith
Faith Christian students participate in programs beginning in kindergarten.
Recent all-school plays include “Beauty & the Beast,” “Annie Get Your Gun,” “Music Man,” “Les Miserables,” and "My Fair Lady." Many years, students on all campuses are encouraged to try out for the school play.
Choirs, bands, art, and drama class members participate in ACSI and state competitions and frequently take top honors. A Faith Christian goal is for students to affect the world for Christ using and developing the gifts He has given them.
Technology is offered to elementary and middle school students teaching them keyboarding as well as how to use programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Project Lead the Way is a program Faith Christian offers to middle and high school students that teaches technology and engineering.
Faith Christian High School 's Science department provides students with Biblically integrated content as well as various opportunities to apply the content that they are learning in the classroom. In addition to the comprehensive science curriculum that Faith offers (Environmental Science, Biology, Applied Chemistry, Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy and Physiology, Advanced Biology, AP Biology and AP Physics), Faith also offers two elective opportunities that enable students to participate in state, national and international competitions.
Our Extracurricular Activities
From Kindergarten through High School, a diverse array of student activities are available to Faith Christian students including ACSI speech meets, spelling bees, music festivals and science fairs for elementary students. Mock trial, Speech, video editing, yearbook, journalism, robotics, various clubs, student tutoring, Jr Honor Society and National Honor Society are some of the options available for middle school and high school students. Each one of these programs is designed to provide a specific niche that will empower every student to develop the gifts and talents that God has placed within them and enhance their educational experience.
