Does my family need to attend a certain church in order to go to school at FCA? You need to attend a Bible believing Christian church regularly, but we don't tell you which church to attend. Our student body represents over 175 different Christian churches in the Denver area.

How many students are in a classroom? A maximum of 24 in each kindergarten, 24 in grades 1-3, up to 26 in grades 4-8, and up to 28 in grades 9-12.
Do students wear uniforms? No, there is a dress code detailed in our student handbook. On Chapel day, (HS Mondays, MS/ES Wednesdays) students dress up. Girls wear skirts, dresses, or dress pants, and boys wear collared shirts and dress pants.
What are the school hours? All classes meet Monday through Friday Morning Kindergarten meets from 8:00 am—11:15 am Kindergarten full day and grades 1 through 5 attend school from 8:00 am—3:00 pm Grades 6-8 attend from 7:55 am—3:05 pm Grades 9-12 meet from 8:05 am—3:03 pm
What is full-day kindergarten? Full-day kindergarten students receive the same academic instruction as half-day kindergartners. Additionally, full day kindergartners attend gym, music, art, and computer technology and eat lunch on campus.
My child is four; when could I register? Your child must be 5 by September 15 of the year he starts school. Registration begins on September 15th the year before your student would start school and is ongoing.
How do I register? We highly recommend a visit to the campus in the form of a tour or shadow day. Complete an application for each student and submit a $50 application fee per student (with a maximum of $100 per family). Once the paperwork has been reviewed you will be contacted by the admissions office to complete the enrollment process.
Do you provide transportation? Many of our families car pool and some utilize information provided by the school directory. The school does not have any transportation available for students.
Do students bring their own lunches? They may, or we have a hot lunch program. A lunch for grades K - 5 is available for purchase each day. Students in grades 6-12 may order ala Carte daily and healthy snacks are also available for purchase.
Do your students learn phonics? Yes, grades K-1 have phonics incorporated in the curriculum.
Do you have an athletic program? Yes, we compete with public and private schools through the Colorado High School Activities Association at the 3A level. Competitive sports start as early as 6th grade.
Do you have funds to help families who cannot afford tuition? FCA does offer a tuition assistance fund. Applications are required for a family to receive consideration and those submitted by the first Friday after April 15th will receive first priority. Email the FCA accounting department at

People Helpers is an additional source that can help reduce your tuition through a scrip program it provides for FCA families. The funds earned are credited directly to individual tuition accounts. For more information, refer to the Financial Assistance page.
May parents work off tuition? No, however, a parent may apply for a job when available, and use the paycheck to pay school bills just as you would any other job.
Are you a college-prep school? Yes, we are mostly college prep. Our academic program includes ability grouping in math and reading in the ES, and moderate needs through college prep in grades 6-12.
What percentages of your graduates go on to college? Approximately 95% of our graduating seniors further their education after HS. Of the remaining 5% a large percentage go to college after spending time in missions or working.
May seniors graduate early? No
How many students attend FCA? At this update (2009-2010) we have 940 students in grades K - 12.
Are you a boarding school? No, our students must live with a parent or legal guardian.
Do you have a before/after school care and/or summer program? The Sonshine Center is also a ministry of Faith Bible Chapel and provides the before/after school care and a summer program for Faith Christian students grades K-5.
Do you have a nurse? Yes, at the K - 8 campus there is a full-time nurse on duty.
Do you have fundraisers? Yes, we have a golf tournament in the fall. Proceeds benefit the FCA tuition assistance fund. Our spring event, the Faith Promise Celebration is our time to celebrate what God has done at FCA for the year.
May parents help in the classroom? Yes! We love volunteers. There are many opportunities to volunteer at all campuses.
How do payments work? After paying the enrollment fee, tuition is paid in ten equal payments from August through May. Parents receive an electronic statement each month. Each payment is due on the first of each month. Payments are made by ACH (an automatic debit from a bank account). However, there is a 3% tuition reduction when tuition is paid in full by July 1.
